This is one of Stuart's high quality patterns with crisp cutting.  Beauty is combined with function.  There are no indications this has ever been used and there are no chips or scratches and signs of misting or damage or repair.  However there are three small elongated air bubbles on the shoulder of the carafe which suggest the reason for the lack of the Stuart mark on the base.  It was probably sold as a second.
